The Aeonian Standard

“Crafted for Stillness. Built for Generations”.

The Anatomy of an Aeonian Print

An Aeonian piece is more than a photograph; it is an invitation to pause. To honour the ancient Mediterranean landscapes we capture, I believe the physical art must be as enduring as the history it depicts. From the slow-grown Latvian forests to the hands of our master printers, every element is chosen to ensure your sanctuary remains timeless, warp-free, and museum-vivid for a lifetime.”

Fine Art Canvas

The Skeleton: Hand-stretched over 1.5-inch (3.8 cm) Solid Latvian Pine. I use slow-grown Baltic timber because its density prevents warping, even in large-format sizes (up to 48×32).

The Surface: 100% Natural Cotton Canvas. Unlike cheaper polyester blends, this heavy-weight cotton provides a deep, matte texture that absorbs light, ensuring no distracting reflections in your living space.

“The natural cotton canvas features a specialised, acid-free receptive coating. When combined with the 9-colour Giclée Eco-Solvent inks, the result is a museum-grade finish that is naturally UV-resistant and water-repellent. This process eliminates the need for heavy, artificial varnishes—preserving the organic texture of the cotton while ensuring your dawn landscape remains vivid and crack-free for a lifetime.”

Limited Edition Print

A Collector’s Legacy

“For the collector who values the tangible history of a photograph, my Limited Edition prints are the pinnacle of the Aeonian collection. These are museum-grade designed to outlast a century.”

The Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308gsm) I have selected this 100% cotton paper for its beautiful, felt-like touch and incredible depth. It is acid-free and lignin-free, meaning it will not yellow or degrade over time. It captures the ‘Technical Soul’ of a Mediterranean dawn with a matte finish that eliminates distracting reflections.

The Method: Professional Giclée Printing Each piece is produced using the Giclée method—the industry benchmark for fine art. Utilising 12-colour archival pigment inks, this process provides a tonal range and colour accuracy that standard printing cannot match. These prints are tested to remain lightfast for over 100 years.

Bespoke Gallery Framing: “For a complete, ready-to-hang masterpiece, I offer professional framing in partnership with my global labs. Each frame is handcrafted from FSC-certified solid wood, ensuring it meets the highest environmental and structural standards. We utilize high-clarity, UV-protective Perspex rather than standard glass; this provides superior protection against sunlight fading and ensures your art arrives safely, regardless of its destination.”

Provenance: Signature & Certification

  • Digitally Signed & Numbered: To ensure seamless global delivery from my certified labs, each print features a high-fidelity digital signature and unique edition number, personally placed by me during the final mastering of the file. This ensures your piece is officially recognized as part of the finite edition.
  • Certificate of Authenticity: Every print is accompanied by a separate, physical Certificate of Authenticity. This document serves as your official guarantee of the artwork’s origin, location, and technical specifications.

Mindful Creation & Global Integrity

Limited Edition Prints (UK, Germany, USA): To ensure these museum-grade pieces reach you with the lowest possible impact, I use local professional labs in London, Düsseldorf and New York. These labs are certified Carbon Neutral, utilising renewable energy and verified offset programs to ensure your print is as kind to the earth as it is beautiful.

Fine Art Canvases: For my canvases, I have partnered with a specialist printer in Latvia. The lab uses slow-grown Baltic Pine—a timber far denser and more resilient than standard framing wood. By shipping directly from the source of the timber to your door, we cut out unnecessary “middle-man” transport miles and ensure the structural integrity of your art is never compromised.

Designed for Distance: Safe Transit & Delivery

“A museum-grade print deserves museum-grade protection. Whether it is crossing a border or an ocean, I have engineered the packaging to ensure your art arrives in the same pristine condition it left the lab.”

Limited Edition Prints

  • Unframed: Prints are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and shipped in heavy-duty, wide-diameter reinforced tubes to prevent “over-curling.”
  • Framed: Utilizing shatter-resistant UV Perspex (rather than heavy, fragile glass) allows us to ship framed works globally with significantly reduced risk. Each frame is encased in bespoke, double-walled corrugated cardboard with reinforced corner protectors.

Fine Art Canvases

  • Our GALLERY CANVAS PRINTER in Latvia uses custom-fitted PACKAGING specifically designed for the weight and dimensions of the Baltic Pine frames.
  • Each canvas is wrap-protected and suspended within the box to ensure the surface never touches the outer walls during transit.

Global Tracking & Insurance

  • Every shipment—whether from London, New York, or Latvia—is fully insured and trackable. You will receive a personal tracking link the moment your artwork is dispatched, allowing you to follow its journey to your sanctuary.
