I’ve been getting up before dawn around the Mediterranean for 37 years.
Not for the exercise. Because that window — ancient stone meeting the first light, before the boats start and the tourists arrive — that’s when these places show you something they hide the rest of the day.
Every image in this collection was made in that window. Some required a lot of planning. Some meant sitting on cold marble for two hours waiting for the light to move. None of them were luck.

My editing and printing workflow is fully colour-managed — calibrated screen, profiled files, printed by specialists to gallery standards. Everything on my end is as accurate as it can be.
