The Ice Barn Hambridge Somerset
I then came across the wonderful image of a red-roofed old barn that sat perfectly with the frozen waters of the old canal and iconic Somerset withy trees.
BACKSTORY
Summer Evening Over Burrow Mump
Embrace the serene vistas of Burrow Hill with our Somerset Photography Prints. Witness the tranquil allure of a summer evening over the Somerset Levels, captured from an aerial perspective by drone.
It was a beautiful English summers day and I knew the early evening light would provide some stunning light. I decided to head onto the Somerset Levels to Burrow Mump.
Burrow Mump is a small historic hill located in the village of Burrowbridge.
On top of the hill a Grade II listed 15th century church overlooking the Somerset Levels at the point where the River Parrett and Tone meet.
Ive photographed here many times over the years and I normally favour a view on the riverbank where the Parrett and Tone converge with the Hill rising above.
On this occasion, however, I decided to capture some images with a drone to get the elevation to show the location in relationship and contrast of the flat Somerset wetlands in which its located.

What’s The Difference Between A Canvas And A Limited Edition Print?
- The canvas prints are open edition — there is no limit on how many can be made.
- The limited edition prints are on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper — a heavy cotton paper made to archival standards — with a strict edition cap (5, 10 or 15 depending on size).
- When an edition sells out, it is closed for good. Some photographs are offered in both formats and some in one only. The difference is the material, the edition limit, and what that means for long-term ownership.
