It was a beautiful English summers day and I knew the early evening light would provide some stunning light. I decided to head onto the Somerset Levels to Burrow Mump.
Burrow Mump is a small historic hill located in the village of Burrowbridge.
On top of the hill a Grade II listed 15th century church overlooking the Somerset Levels at the point where the River Parrett and Tone meet.
Ive photographed here many times over the years and I normally favour a view on the riverbank where the Parrett and Tone converge with the Hill rising above.
On this occasion, however, I decided to capture some images with a drone to get the elevation to show the location in relationship and contrast of the flat Somerset wetlands in which its located.

The canvas prints are open edition — produced on artist-grade cotton canvas with archival pigment inks. There is no limit on how many can be made. The limited edition prints are on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper — a heavy cotton paper used in museum collections — with a strict edition cap. When the edition sells out, the image is permanently retired. Both use the same photographs. The difference is the material, the edition limit, and what that means for long-term ownership.
