Lindos Cats: When I’m the One Being Nosy
Greek cats – I’ve told a few stories about my encounters with nosy cats while out shooting in Greece at dawn. On this occasion, it was me being inquisitive and interrupting a lazy afternoon in the sun for these two.
It was a sunny Easter afternoon in Lindos and I was showing friends some of my favorite places on the island, which of course had to include Lindos. We decided to split up, and my wife and I took a leisurely stroll around some of the back streets, exploring and hoping to find new places to experience.
Down one of the many side alleys, I came across these two cats who looked like they were related, enjoying just chilling out in the sunshine. They had that perfect “we own this place” attitude that Greek cats seem to master so effortlessly.
They say it’s a dog’s life, but in Greece it’s the cats that seem to have life sussed out quite nicely! No schedules, no stress – just endless sunny afternoons and the occasional curious photographer to tolerate.
Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you’re not actively hunting for the perfect shot, but simply wandering with people you love.
What unexpected moments have you stumbled upon while exploring?
