HAM WALL WALKWAY
Ham Wall is fairly well known in Somerset and I believed I had been here before shooting for the Somerset tourist board but it was more than a few years ago to say the least.
The main reason I went to Ham Wall this morning as the forecast was for mist and I wasn’t disappointed. I walked on one of the trails and captured
several mist-covered scenes that were simply beautiful.
The mist creates a soft blanket over the wetlands, obscuring much of the landscape and lending a magical, otherworldly feeling to the surroundings.
I came across this bridge a short walk from the car park which led the eye beautifully into the the misty horizon beyond.
The mist also provided an ideal backdrop for the wildlife and their habitats, showcasing the beauty and fragility of the nature here.
The tranquil atmosphere was only broken by the occasional rustle of leaves or a bird taking flight, adding to the sensory experience and heightening
the appreciation of the surroundings.
As the sun rose the mist started to lift and I headed home knowing this wouldn’t be my last visit to this beautiful location especially in the mist.

What’s The Difference Between A Canvas And A Limited Edition Print?
The canvas prints are open edition — produced on artist-grade cotton canvas with archival pigment inks. There is no limit on how many can be made. The limited edition prints are on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper — a heavy cotton paper used in museum collections — with a strict edition cap. When the edition sells out, the image is permanently retired. Both use the same photographs. The difference is the material, the edition limit, and what that means for long-term ownership.
