The Story Behind This Book
My connection to Greece began in 1971 aboard the SS Fiesta with my parents. I was 4 years old.
My dad shared his love for photography and Greek history with me. At 19, I took my first solo trip to explore Greece’s antiquity sites, armed with his professional camera kit.
37 years later, this book captures the serene beauty of places that shaped my life—Byzantine chapels, Roman ruins, ancient coastlines at dawn.
The images you don’t see on Instagram. The Greece before the tour buses arrive.
This isn’t a travel guide. It’s a visual meditation on stillness, history, and that suspended moment when ancient light meets modern silence.
